Visoka raven tega hormona v krvi spodbuja delitev celic. Potreben je za rast organizma in za reprodukcijo. Narava spodbuja zlasti tiste aktivnosti, ki koristijo reprodukciji. Zato je pri ve\u010dini ljudi raven IGF-1 visoka. Telo je, kot pravi dr. Michael Mosley v \u00bbgo-go\u00ab (hite\u010dem) na\u010dinu delovanja. \u017dal pa visoka raven IGF-1 dokazano spodbuja razvoj raka. Zato njegova visoka raven v krvi pomeni visoko tveganje za razvoj rakavega obolenja (Campbell, Campbell 2006, str.179).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 2px 6px 4px 6px; color: #555555; background-color: #eeeeee; border: #dddddd 2px solid;\"><strong>Kje si izmerimo IGF-1?<\/strong><br \/>\nV Sloveniji je mo\u017eno izmeriti raven IGF-1 v krvi na Polikliniki v Ljubljani (Njego\u0161eva ulica). Storitev opravljajo tudi samopla\u010dni\u0161ko. V tem primeru se zglasimo med 8.00 in 13.00 uro na okencu laboratorija za \u0161\u010ditnico, poravnamo ra\u010dun (30,33 Eur) in oddamo kri. Izvid po\u0161ljejo na dom v petih dneh.<br \/>\nIndeks IGF-1 izra\u010dunamo po formuli dejanska vrednost IGF-1 x 100 \/ zgornja referen\u010dna vrednost IGF-1.<\/p>\n<p>Telo ne more opravljati hkrati vseh fiziolo\u0161kih nalog. Ko je usmerjeno v reprodukcijo in rast, je manj u\u010dinkovito pri popravljanju obstoje\u010dih celic. In prav IGF-1 je tisto \u00bbstikalo\u00ab, ki, ko ga je v krvi malo, vklju\u010di intenzivno prenovo celic in zmanj\u0161a njihovo delitev. Veliko raziskav na \u017eivalih ka\u017ee, da je nizek IGF-1 tesno povezan z dolgo\u017eivostjo. Ob nizkem IGF-1 telo preklopi na \u00bbpopravljalni\u00ab na\u010din delovanja, ko regenerira celi\u010dne strukture, odstranjuje stare celice in se tako pomlajuje. \u010ce \u017eelimo zmanj\u0161ati tveganje za raka in poskrbeti za dolgo\u017eivost je torej potrebno poskrbeti za \u010dim ni\u017ejo raven IGF-1 v na\u0161i krvi (znotraj referen\u010dnih vrednosti). To lahko storimo z ustrezno prehrano.<\/p>\n<p>IGH-1 je odvisen od starosti in spola. Za primerljivost ga je zato smotrno izraziti kot indeks glede na zgornjo referen\u010dno vrednost. \u010ce je blizu vrednosti 100 ali nad njo, je tveganje za razvoj raka visoko. V raziskavi dr. Luigija Fontane je bilo ugotovljeno, da je imelo 46 zdravih prostovoljcev, starih od 50 do 60 let, indeks IGF-1 kar <strong>107,5<\/strong>. U\u017eivali so <strong>obi\u010dajno me\u0161ano prehrano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-835 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.ziva-voda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/indeksi_IGF-1_pri_raznih_vrstah_prehrane.png\" alt=\"Indeksi IGF-1 pri raznih vrstah prehrane\" width=\"366\" height=\"228\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/ziva-voda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/indeksi_IGF-1_pri_raznih_vrstah_prehrane.png 366w, https:\/\/ziva-voda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/indeksi_IGF-1_pri_raznih_vrstah_prehrane-300x187.png 300w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 366px) 100vw, 366px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 366px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 366\/228;\" \/>Skupina 28 <strong>veganov <\/strong>podobne starosti je imela v povpre\u010dju indeks IGF-1 le <strong>73<\/strong>. V tej skupini so u\u017eivali malo beljakovin \u2013 le 10% energetskega vnosa, kar je manj od obi\u010dajnega (15-16%). A raziskave dr. Campbella ka\u017eejo, da celo beljakovinsko bogata veganska hrana (20% energije iz beljakovin) ne spodbuja delitve rakavih celic. (Campbell, Campbell 2006, str. 59) in tudi ne zvi\u0161uje ravni IGF-1 (Torres, Barja 2008). Veganska hrana namre\u010d ne vsebuje prese\u017eka metionina, ki spodbuja rast IGF-1. Tega je v (pre)obilju v \u017eivalskih beljakovinah.<\/p>\n<p>Raven IGF-1 lahko \u0161e bolj zni\u017eamo s <strong>trajnim zni\u017eanjem kalori\u010dnega in beljakovinskega vnosa<\/strong>. Prof. Fontana je ugotovil, da se ob ve\u010dletni 20% kalori\u010dni restrikciji in beljakovinsko skromni prehrani zni\u017ea indeks IGF-1 na pribli\u017eno 65. Za ljudi, ki se tako prehranjujejo, pravi, da so po fiziolo\u0161kih zna\u010dilnostih kot \u00bbbitja druge vrste\u00ab. Ugotovili so, da so njihova srca biolo\u0161ko kar za 16 let mlaj\u0161a od src vrstnikov z obi\u010dajno me\u0161ano prehrano (Fontana &amp; Klein, 2007). Medicina \u0161e ni dorekla, katera raven IGF-1 je za ohranjanje zdravja optimalna. Za orientacijo pa na osnovi omenjenega sklepam, da je za zdravje priporo\u010dljivo imeti indeks IGF-1 65 ali manj.<\/p>\n<p>Zdi se, da z<strong> rednimi enodnevnimi posti<\/strong> 1-2 krat tedensko lahko zni\u017eamo vrednost indeks IGF-1celo pod 65. Dr. M. Mosley je po treh mesecih obi\u010dajne prehrane, ki jo je dvakrat tedensko prekinjal z enodnevnimi posti, (<strong>dieta 5:2<\/strong>), zni\u017eal indeks IGF-1 na raven 51,5. Obetavna se zdi tudi metoda <strong>polnovrednega posta<\/strong> dr. Ostana. Trije se po tej metodi postimo 1-2 krat tedensko \u017ee nekaj mesecev (ena oseba) oziroma \u017ee ve\u010d let (dve osebi). Ob tem redno u\u017eivamo vsa tri prehranska dopolnila iz Ostanovega dopolnilnega prehranskega sistema (MAP, FHES in Probiotike EM), ob postnih dnevih pa pove\u010damo koli\u010dino MAP na 15 tablet. Prof. Mark P. Mattson z National Institute of Aging Univerze John Hopkins iz Baltimora pa je s preizkusi na mi\u0161ih dokazal, da <strong>kalori\u010dna restrikcija spodbudi nastajanje novih nevronov <\/strong>v mo\u017eganih (svetli \u00bb\u010debul\u010dki\u00ab na sliki). <\/em><em>Zdi se, da narava s tem pomaga \u017eivalim pri pre\u017eivetju, saj v obdobjih pomanjkanja hrane potrebujejo bolj\u0161i spomin in u\u010dinkovitej\u0161e mentalne sposobnosti.
