Tudi, \u010de jih potrebujemo manj so \u0161e vseeno pomembni za na\u0161e telo.<\/p>\n<p>Kaj je tukaj pomembno: na\u0161e telo mineralov ni zmo\u017eno tvoriti samo. Zato jih je potrebno vna\u0161ati preko hrane, ki jo zau\u017eijemo.<\/p>\n<p>Med esencialne elemente za \u010dlove\u0161ji organizem \u0161tejemo Fe, Zn, Cu, Cr, I, Co, Mo in Se (WHO\/FAO\/IAEA, 1996)<br \/>\nNjihova skupna lastnost je ta, da jih \u010dlove\u0161ko telo potrebuje zelo malo in v razli\u010dnih obdobjih \u017eivljenja razli\u010dno, v nekaterih primerih je to pogojeno tudi s spolom. Vendar so nujni sestavni del \u017eivila za normalno delovanje vseh telesnih in duhovnik funkcij \u010dloveka.<\/p>\n<p>Nekaj primerov zakaj so mineralni pomembni za na\u0161 organizem:<br \/>\n&#8211; \u017delezo npr. je sestavni del hemoglobina, molekule, ki prena\u0161a kisik v vse na\u0161e celice.<br \/>\n&#8211; Cink je klju\u010dna sestavina \u0161tevilnih encimov.<br \/>\n&#8211; Krom igra pomembno vlogo v metabolizmu glukoze.<br \/>\n&#8211; Molibden sodeluje pri fiksaciji du\u0161ika.<br \/>\n&#8211; Kobalt je sestavina vitamina -B12.<br \/>\n&#8211; Pomanjkanje joda povzro\u010da gol\u0161o.<br \/>\n&#8211; Selen in baker sodelujeta v obrambi pred prostimi radikali.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Esencialne ali neesencialne?&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8230; to je obi\u010dajno temeljno in pogosto vpra\u0161anje na podro\u010dju mikroelementov, na katerega pa ni mogo\u010de preprosto odgovoriti.<\/p>\n<p>V literaturi, ki vsebinsko obravnava toksikologijo mineralov in minerale v prehrani pogosto zasledimo izraz &#8220;toksi\u010dni minerali&#8221; (ang. toxic minerals).<\/p>\n<p>Pomembno je koliko minerala iz posameznega \u017eivila pride v na\u0161e telo.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Od kje sploh prihajajo minerali?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>V\u010dasih je bilo celotno vesolje majhna gosta in vro\u010da kepa protonov, nevtronov, elektronov in fotonov, ki se od velikega poka dalje \u0161iri in ohlaja.<\/p>\n<p>Jedra in elektroni so se za\u010deli zdru\u017eevati v atome, plonski oblaki atomov so se za\u010deli, zaradi gravitacije, zgo\u0161\u010dati v galaksije, zvezde in planete.<\/p>\n<p>Vir mikroelementov danes?<\/p>\n<p>Primarni vir ve\u010dine elementov v prehrani pa danes predstavlja zemlja. Zato je koncentracija posameznega elementa tako v rastlinskih kot \u017eivalskih komponentah prehrane odvisna predvsem od koncentracije le teh v zemlji na obmo\u010dju izvora posameznega \u017eivila.<\/p>\n<p>V tem primeru rastline predstavljajo glavno pot esencialnih mikroelementov iz zemlje do \u010dlovekovega organizma.<\/p>\n<p>V zadnjem stoletju se je \u0161tevilo \u010dloveku potrebnih elementov pove\u010dalo. Prvi razlog je vezan na nova spoznanja v fiziologiji \u010dloveka, drugi pomemben vidik pa je razkrit s prehranskimi \u0161tudijami, ki so pokazale, da se raznolikost v \u010dlove\u0161ki prehrani o\u017ea (zemlja je \u010dedalje bolj osiroma\u0161ena), kar pomeni ve\u010djo nevarnost za uravnote\u017een vnos potrebnih mikroelementov v dnevno prehrano \u010dloveka.<\/p>\n<p>Vegetarijanska prehrana kot dejavnik tveganja?&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Delovanje vitaminov in mineralov je lahko medsebojno povezano, zato je najbolje, da jih u\u017eivamo z \u017eivili.<\/p>\n<p>Primer je npr. mleko, ki vsebuje vitamin D in kalcij.
