V\u010dasih na vasi ni bilo pi\u0161kotov, potica je bila le za veliko no\u010d, sadje je bilo manj sladko, sve\u017eih sokov skoraj ni bilo, me\u0161an\u010dkov (smutijev) pa sploh ne. Pasti sladkorjev so danes vsepovsod. U\u017eivanje sadja skupaj z vlakninami v zmernih koli\u010dinah je priporo\u010dljivo. V hrani pa nam primanjkuje predvsem zelenjave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zato smo si omislili u\u017eivanje 3 do 5 dl posebnega me\u0161an\u010dka na dan. Vsebuje pribli\u017eno 60 % zelenjave. Dovolj je \u017ee ena vrsta zelenjave, a obi\u010dajno uporabimo potri vrste. Od sadja najpogosteje ume\u0161amo banano in limono, saj zelo izbolj\u0161ata okus smutija. Sestavine v me\u0161alniku me\u0161amo le toliko \u010dasa, da so ko\u0161\u010dki zelenjave \u0161e vidni. Dovolj veliki delci vlaknin upo\u010dasnijo prehod sladkorjev iz \u010drevesa v kri.
