Izlo\u010da ga predvsem \u017eleza \u010de\u0161arika (epifiza), ko se za\u010dne temniti. Melatonin povzro\u010di, da se mo\u017egansko valovanje umiri, sr\u010dni utrip in telesna temperatura zni\u017eata in zdrsnemo v spanje. \u010ce je melatonina dovolj, je spanje globoko in s tem regeneracija najbolj u\u010dinkovita. In kaj lahko storimo, da bo melatonina ob pravem \u010dasu dovolj?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Razbremenimo organizem pred spanjem. Melatonin ni le hormon, pa\u010d pa tudi mo\u010dan antioksidant, kar je celo njegova primarna funkcija. \u010ce je telo pred spanjem polno strupov, bo melatonin potreben za razstrupljanje in ga bo zmanjkalo za spodbuditev globokega spanja. Pred spanjem naj zato ne bo du\u0161evnih in telesnih naporov, ne jejmo te\u017eke hrane in ne pijmo alkohola (nekaterim to sicer pomaga, da zaspijo, a je spanje plitko). \u010ce ves dan nismo izpraznili \u010drevesja, je zve\u010der zadnji \u010das, da to opravimo (debelo \u010drevo je najve\u010dje odlagali\u0161\u010de toksinov v organizmu in \u010de se blato predolgo zadr\u017euje v njem, toksini pronicajo skozi \u010drevesno steno v telo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spodbudimo ustvarjanje melatonina. Pogoj za tvorjenje melatonina je tema. Na\u0161e telo ga ustvarja iz serotonina, hormona sre\u010de, ki ga je ve\u010dinoma ustvarilo \u010dez dan, \u010de smo o\u010di dovolj izpostavljali son\u010dni svetlobi. Naravna formula za pridobivanje melatonina je torej: bivajmo vsaj eno uro na dan zunaj ob dnevni svetlobi (brez o\u010dal), pono\u010di pa bodimo v temi. Zve\u010der torej pritajimo svetlobo, v spalnici prepre\u010dimo vdor svetlobe od zunaj, spimo brez pri\u017eganih lu\u010di in tudi \u010de moramo pono\u010di na strani\u0161\u010de, to storimo v temi ali kve\u010djemu ob brlivki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Problem pa je, da v starosti ta naravni ritem \u017eivljenja ni ve\u010d dovolj u\u010dinkovit za priklic globokega sna. Takrat si lahko pomagamo z oralnim u\u017eivanjem melatonina. Po ugotovitvah Evropske agencije za zdravo hrano je zau\u017eitje miligrama melatonina pred spanjem dovolj u\u010dinkovito za priklic spanca.
