V raziskavi v ZDA med ljudmi, ki se hranijo z me\u0161ano prehrano, starimi od 50 do 60 let, je bila povpre\u010dna vrednost IGF-1 za 8% nad zgornjo referen\u010dno vrednostjo, IGF-1 veganov iste starostne skupine pa je bil za 25% ni\u017eji od zgornje referen\u010dne vrednosti, kar je z vidika raka varneje.<\/p>\n<p>Tudi ketogena dieta (prehrana z veliko ma\u0161\u010dobami in zelo malo ogljikovih hidratov) precej zni\u017ea raven IGF-1. A tako veganstvo kot ketogena dieta ne varujeta povsem pred rakom.<\/p>\n<p>Mnogo varnej\u0161i smo pred rakavimi obolenji \u010de se raven IGF-1 v krvi spusti za 35 % do 50 % pod zgornjo referen\u010dno mejo. To lahko dose\u017eemo celo pri obi\u010dajni prehrani, \u010de se za dan ali dva vsak teden postimo. Onkolog dr. T. Howell in nutricionistka M. Harvie sta opravila poskus na skupini prostovoljk: po dva zaporedna dneva v tednu so u\u017eivale le po 650 kcal na dan, druge dni so jedle kot obi\u010dajno.<\/p>\n<p>Tveganje za nastanek raka se je v nekaj tednih zmanj\u0161alo za 40% Dr. M. Mosley je opravil podoben 6 tedenski poskus, v katerem se je dva ne zaporedna dneva na teden postil (takrat je u\u017eil po 600 kcal hrane). Njegov IGF-1 se je v tem \u010dasu spustil na idealno raven 35% do 50 % pod zgornjo referen\u010dno mejo.<\/p>\n<p>Po na\u0161ih opa\u017eanjih pa se pri taki obliki posta lahko pojavi beljakovinska podhranjenost (siv ten \u2026). Zato smo z 12 prostovoljci preverili 3,5 dneva trajajo\u010di polnovredni post, ki prav tako dovoljuje od 500 do 600 kcal na dan, vklju\u010duje pa tudi u\u017eivanje po vsaj 15 tablet OKA, bio probiotik EM in FHES. Preizkus je bil uspe\u0161en, saj se je kljub popolni beljakovinski prehranjenosti IGF-1 zni\u017eal za 7 indeksnih to\u010dk.<\/p>\n<p>\u010ce nam je prete\u017eko postiti se, poskusimo vsaj u\u017eiti hrano v najve\u010d 8 urah na dan, 16 ur pa ni\u010d jesti.
