Kar 60 % tega (3 porcije na dan) bi morala biti zelenjava. Ve\u010dinoma ne pojemo toliko sadja in zelenjave, zlasti pa ne toliko zelenjave. S staranjem se koli\u010dina u\u017eitega sadja in zelenjave \u0161e zmanj\u0161a, saj vlakninasto hrano te\u017eje grizemo.<\/p>\n<p>Decembra 2020 je bil v reviji Neurology objavljen \u010dlanek dr. Marthe C. Morris in njenih sodelavcev z ameri\u0161ke Univerze Rush o pomenu u\u017eivanje listnate zelenjave za ohranjanje zaznavnih sposobnosti starej\u0161ih. V \u0161tudiji, v kateri je sodelovalo 960 mentalno zdravih prostovoljcev in prostovoljk, starih v povpre\u010dju 81 let, so ugotovili, da u\u017eivanje listnate zelenjave ohranja zaznavne sposobnosti. Osebe, ki so dnevno u\u017eile vsaj 1 porcijo listnate zelenjave (solate, radi\u010da, \u0161pina\u010de, blitve, ohrovta \u2026) so imele po 4,7 letih kar za 11 let \u00bbmlaj\u0161e\u00ab mo\u017egane kot osebe, ki take hrane skorajda niso u\u017eivale (najve\u010d 0,1 porcije na dan).<\/p>\n<p>U\u017eivanje listnate zelenjave je torej pomembno tudi s tega vidika. To velja tudi za toplotno obdelano zelenjavo, seveda pa je v surovi ohranjenih ve\u010d vitaminov. Ker prav surovo zelenjavo v starosti te\u017eje grizemo, si lahko pomagamo z grobo mletim, prete\u017eno zelenjavnim me\u0161an\u010dkom (smutijem). Na\u0161 recept za 3 dl takega napitka je: 80 do 120 g listnate zelenjave, pol banane in sok polovice limone na hitro zmiksamo v me\u0161alniku in popijemo. Tak napitek ne zvi\u0161a ravni sladkorja v krvi, ki je sicer najpogostej\u0161i povzro\u010ditelj Alzheimerjeve bolezni.<\/p>\n<p>Naj poudarim, da je dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na nastajanje in zdravljenje demence, veliko. Kot smo \u017ee pisali, jih nevrolog dr. Bredesen, avtor knjige Adijo, Alzheimer, navaja kar 36. V teh novicah navajamo nekaj pomembnih ukrepov, ki jih, po na\u0161ih izku\u0161njah, ni te\u017eko izvajati. Celovita metoda dr.
