Bredesena, da k razvoju Alzheimerjeve bolezni prispeva kar 36 dejavnikov. V svoji knjigi, ki v slovenskem prevodu nosi naslov Adijo Alzheimer (2020), opisuje uspe\u0161no metodo zdravljenja te bolezni, imenovano ReCode. Za zdravljenje in prevencijo demence je med drugim pomembno, da vsak dan ne jemo vsaj (zaporednih) 12 ur, vsekakor pa nehamo jesti vsaj 3 ure pred spanjem, da se izogibamo sladkorju in sladkim jedem, hodimo vsaj pol ure na dan, poskrbimo za trdno spanje tudi z u\u017eivanjem melatonina, vsak dan zau\u017eijemo od 1,5 do 2 g omega 3 (v obliki EPA in DHA) \u2026 Vse to je pomembno za na\u0161o \u00bbskrinjico spomina\u00ab &#8211; mo\u017egane.<\/p>\n<p>To jesen pa je iz\u0161el znanstveni \u010dlanek prof. Charlesa Ramassamija in njegovih sodelavcev (kanadski in\u0161titut INRS) o pomenu antioksidantov za prepre\u010devanje razvoja Alzheimerjeve bolezni <a href=\"https:\/\/alz-journals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1002\/dad2.12231\">(https:\/\/alzjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1002\/dad2.12231). <\/a>Ugotovili so, da se pet let pred pojavom Alzheimerjeve bolezni zelo zni\u017ea antioksidantskost biolo\u0161kega terena. Za prepre\u010devanje nastajanje demence je po njihovih ugotovitvah pomembna pravo\u010dasna preventiva z antioksidanti. Ko bolezen \u017ee nastopi, je zdravljenje (samo) z antioksidanti manj u\u010dinkovito.<\/p>\n<p>Bogat vir antioksidantov sta zelenjava in sadje. Pri nas doma redno u\u017eivamo tudi antioksidant FHES.
