Uradna prehranska doktrina nas u\u010di, da je zdravo jesti vsak dan po pet obrokov. Carsen in Friedrich Hoelzel (1946) objavila prvi \u010dlanek o preizkusih na podganah, ki so jim trajno dajali hrano vsak drugi dan, sicer pa so le pile vodo.<\/p>\n<p>Mnogi podobni poskusi so pokazali, da so \u017eivali ob takem postenju \u017eivele dlje in so bile bolj zdrave kot sicer. Dr. Krista Varady je s poskusi na ljudeh potrdila, da podobno postenje krepi zdravje in zmanj\u0161uje telesno te\u017eo.<\/p>\n<p>V poskusih, ki sta jih vodila dr. Michelle Harvie in prof. Tony Howell so se udele\u017eenke in udele\u017eenci postili le dva zaporedna dneva na teden in v tem \u010dasu zau\u017eili po 650 kcal dnevno, preostalih pet dni v tednu pa so jedli kot obi\u010dajno. V \u0161tirih mesecih takega re\u017eima so shuj\u0161ali v povpre\u010dju za 5,8 kg, holesterol se je \u017ee po prvem mesecu v povpre\u010dju stabiliziral na 6% ni\u017eji ravni, krvni tlak se je v povpre\u010dju zni\u017eal za 11%, inzulin za 10 %, tveganje za nastanek raka pa se je zmanj\u0161alo celo za 40%. Udele\u017eenci so po \u0161tirih mesecih diete pre\u0161li na en postni dan tedensko, kar jim je omogo\u010dalo trajno ohranjanje ni\u017eje telesne te\u017ee in ni\u017eje ravni holesterola.<\/p>\n<p>Po sistemu zdravnika dr. Michaela Mosleya se za huj\u0161anje postimo dva nezaporedna dneva v tednu, za vzdr\u017eevanje telesne te\u017ee pa en dan na teden. Na postni dan je \u017eenskam dovoljeno zau\u017eiti 500 kcal, mo\u0161kim pa 600 kcal. V razvitih de\u017eelah se tak na\u010din huj\u0161anja in vzdr\u017eevanja telesne te\u017ee hitro \u0161iri.<\/p>\n<h3>Mimo pasti kratkih postov<\/h3>\n<p>Postenje je bilo neko\u010d naravni del prehranjevanja, saj ob\u010dasno hrane v naravi ni bilo. Pa vendar postenje ni primerno za vse. Prehranski strokovnjaki menijo, da je katera koli oblika kalori\u010dne restrikcije lahko nevarna za diabetike, nose\u010dnice, otroke in zelo suhe osebe.<\/p>\n<p>Raziskovalci postenja, kot je prof. Valter Longo z Univerze Ju\u017ene Kalifornije, opozarjajo na te\u017eave, ki se lahko pojavijo pri postu (zni\u017eanje krvnega tlaka, zni\u017eanje ravni sladkorja v krvi). Zgodi se, da kdo med postom celo omedli. Zato je koristno, \u010de se za\u010detnik udele\u017ei strokovno vodenega te\u010daja postenja, kakr\u0161ne pri nas vodita dr. Helena Jeri\u010dek Klan\u0161\u010dek in Drago Klan\u0161\u010dek iz Kri\u0161ke vasi.<\/p>\n<p>Svoj prvi 7-dnevni post sem leta 1986 opravil pod zdravni\u0161ko kontrolo. Bil je zelo uspe\u0161en. Od takrat sem bil pozoren predvsem na morebitne te\u017eave pri postu, ki nastanejo zaradi pomanjkanja esencialnih hraniv. Pri enodnevnih postih, pri katerih u\u017eijemo do 500 oziroma 600 kcal, se s pazljivostjo zlahka izognemo pomanjkanju esencialnih ma\u0161\u010dobnih kislin, rudnin in vitaminov. Ne moremo pa se z obi\u010dajnimi \u017eivili ob postnih dneh izogniti beljakovinski podhranjenosti.<\/p>\n<p>Beljakovinska hrana je zelo kalori\u010dna in v okviru omenjene kalori\u010dne restrikcije potrebnih beljakovin preprosto ne bo dovolj. \u010ce se postimo en dan na teden, smo tako dobrih 50 dni na leto beljakovinsko podhranjeni. Posledice so slab\u0161anje tena in pro\u017enosti ko\u017ee, upadanje mi\u0161i\u010dne mase, oslabitev imunskega sistema in druge.<\/p>\n<p>Problemu se izognemo tako, da v prehrano postnega dne vklju\u010dimo vsaj 15 tablet optimalne kombinacije esencialnih aminokislin (OKA), ki ne spro\u0161\u010dajo ni\u010d kalorij. Dodajanje OKA je pomembno zlasti za starej\u0161e, saj po 65. letu pomanjkanje beljakovin pove\u010duje tveganje smrtnosti in raka. Natan\u010dna navodila, kako izvajati tak post smo predstavili v knjigi \u00bbHuj\u0161anje z dopolnili tipa OKA\u00ab.<\/p>\n<p>Leta 2016 je v Kri\u0161ki vasi potekal preizkus triinpoldnevnega postenja po tej metodi. Udele\u017eilo se ga je 12 prostovoljk in prostovoljcev, starih v povpre\u010dju 57 let. V \u010dasu posta so v povpre\u010dju shuj\u0161ali za 1,7 kg, krvni tlak se je zni\u017eal.
