Bredesena zahteva optimizacijo na\u010dina \u017eivljenja in prehrane. Predvideva tudi sodelovanje za to usposobljenega zdravnika, ki v nekaterih primerih priporo\u010da tudi u\u017eivanje posebnih zdravil. Tu navajam le napotke, ki jih dr. Bredesen daje vsem Alzheimerjevim bolnikom in se nana\u0161ajo le na izbolj\u0161anje na\u010dina \u017eivljenja in prehrane.<\/p>\n<p>\u017divljenjski slog. Vsak dan popijmo kaka 2 litra vode ali nesladkanega zeli\u0161\u010dnega \u010daja. Telesno bodimo aktivni 5-6 krat na teden po 30 do 60 minut. Spimo 7-8 ur na dan; dr. Bredesen priporo\u010da 0,5 do 3 mg melatonina pred spanjem. Pri stresnem \u017eivljenju se spro\u0161\u010dajmo z meditacijo, glasbo, bivanjem v naravi \u2026 Bodimo mentalno aktivni. Uravnajmo telesno te\u017eo: indeks telesne mase naj bo med 18 in 25.<\/p>\n<p>Prehrana. Izogibajmo se hrani, ki vsebuje gluten. Prehrana naj bo trajno tipa Ketoflex 12\/3. Pri njej \u010dim bolj omejimo u\u017eivanje sladkorjev in \u0161krobnatih \u017eivil. Ve\u010dina u\u017eitih \u017eivil naj bo nadzemna zelenjava. Med nenasi\u010denimi ma\u0161\u010dobami so priporo\u010dljivi olj\u010dno olje, avokado in ore\u0161\u010dki, med nasi\u010denimi pa MCT olje. Sadje jemo v omejenih koli\u010dinah in izbiramo manj sladko z glikemi\u010dnim indeksom 35 ali manj. Vsak dan ne jejmo vsaj 12 ur (\u010de smo genetsko nagnjeni k demenci pa 14 do 16 ur) in zadnji obrok pojejmo najkasneje tri ure pred spanjem. Omejevati moramo vnos obi\u010dajne beljakovinske hrane (nadomestimo jo s 5-8 tablet OKA na dan \u2013 opomba I.O.).<\/p>\n<p>Trajna prehranska dopolnila. Jemljimo po 2 g magnezija (magnezijev trionat) pred spanjem, 100 mg CoQ10 (ubikinola) na dan, 10-20 mg PQQ, 100 mg resveratrola, 100 g nikotinamid ribozida, 1,5 do 2 g omega 3 (v obliki DHA in EPA), dvakrat na dan po 250 mg liposomskega glutationa ter dovolj probiotikov in prebiotikov.
