Na trgu so na voljo tri glavne skupine beljakovinskih dopolnil: \u010diste BCAA aminokisline, klasi\u010dna aminokislinska dopolnila in aminokisline OKA.<\/p>\n<p>\u010ciste BCAA: V strukturi mi\u0161ic imajo posebno vlogo tako imenovane razvejane aminokisline BCAA (Branched Chain Amino Acids). To so levcin, izolevcin in valin. Sodijo med esencialne aminokisline. \u010ciste BCAA aminokisline so tista prehranska dopolnila, ki vsebujejo le BCAA. Toda S. R. Jackman in sodelavci (2017) so objavili rezultate \u0161tudije, po kateri je dodatek 5,6 g \u010distih BCAA aminokislin tik pred vadbo pove\u010dal sintezo mi\u0161i\u010dnih beljakovin za 22 %, kar je dvakrat manj kot so dosegli s koli\u010dino aminokislin iz sirotke, ki je vsebovala enako koli\u010dino BCAA. U\u017eivati samo \u010diste BCAA aminokisline za krepitev mi\u0161ic torej ni modro.<\/p>\n<p>Klasi\u010dna aminokislinska dopolnila so aminokisline, ki jih dobimo iz beljakovinsko popolnih \u017eivil (jajca, meso, stro\u010dnice, mleko in mle\u010dni izdelki, nekatere alge \u2026) brez spreminjanja sestave aminokislin. \u010ceprav je njihova izkoristljivost ve\u010dja kot pri \u010distih BCAA, je vendarle nizka \u2013 ni\u010d vi\u0161ja kot pri beljakovinah iz izvornih \u017eivil: pri aminokislinah iz sirotke 16 %, iz soje 17 %, iz mesa od 28 % do 36 %, iz koko\u0161jih jajc 48 %. Pri u\u017eivanju katerekoli vrste klasi\u010dnih aminokislin se jih ve\u010dji del predela v du\u0161i\u010dne odpadke, ki zelo obremenijo jetra in ledvice.<\/p>\n<p>Aminokisline tipa OKA vsebujejo za \u010dloveka optimalno kombinacijo vseh 8 esencialnih aminokislin, ki zagotavlja 99-odstotni izkoristek. Telo uspe ustvariti iz njih vseh 12 neesencialnih aminokislin in vse telesne beljakovine v mi\u0161icah in drugih organih. To kombinacijo, v angle\u0161\u010dini imenovano MAP (Master Amino Acid Pattern), je odkril zdravnik dr. Maurizio Luc\u00e0-Moretti (1998). Ker prakti\u010dno ne ustvarja du\u0161i\u010dnih odpadkov (1 %), ne obremenjuje jeter in ledvic, pa\u010d pa jih u\u010dinkovito okrepi (Tamburlin, 1999, De Cristoforo, Giordano, 2002). Ker telo ob u\u017eivanju OKA ne izgublja mo\u010di ne za prebavo ne za izlo\u010danje du\u0161i\u010dnih odpadkov, je regeneracija po naporu hitrej\u0161a, rast mi\u0161ic pa ve\u010dja.
