V zadnjih letih pa je bilo objavljenih ve\u010d znanstvenih \u010dlankov, ki zanikajo to tezo. Ugledni dr. M. Mattson\u00a0 (2016) je s sodelavci objavil poro\u010dilo o raziskavi, da je bilo v evoluciji \u010dlove\u0161tva pet obrokov dnevno le izjema. Dr. T. Zilbert (2014) je s svojo \u0161tudijo pokazal, da so ljudje, ki presko\u010dijo zajtrk, bolj zdravi od tistih, ki ga ne; pa tudi ljudje, ki sicer zajtrkujejo, a imajo zelo zgodnjo ve\u010derjo, so trdnej\u0161ega zdravja od tistih, ki imajo redne obroke od jutra do ve\u010dera. Pomembno je torej imeti <strong>dolg dnevni po\u010ditek od hrane<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Zadnja leta se na Zahodu vse bolj uveljavlja prehranjevanje, pri katerem ljudje ne u\u017eijejo nobene kalori\u010dne hrane 16 ur dnevno. Preizkusi na mi\u0161ih (Hatori et al., 2012) in na ljudeh (Moro et al, 2016) so namre\u010d pokazali, da so tisti, ki zau\u017eijejo vso dnevno potrebno hrano v 8 urah, v preostalih 16 pa ni\u010d, bolj\u0161ega zdravja in imajo ni\u017ejo telesno te\u017eo kot tisti, ki enako vrsto in koli\u010dino hrane u\u017eivajo ves dan.<\/p>\n<p>Po\u010ditek od hrane je zlasti pomemben v dana\u0161njem \u010dasu, ko je v prehrani mnogo ve\u010d sladkorjev kot neko\u010d. Trebu\u0161ni slinavki in drugim presnovnim organom moramo zagotoviti \u010das, da si odpo\u010dijejo in se regenerirajo. Kdor to svojemu telesu dopusti, ima ni\u017ejo raven jutranjega inzulina in rastnega faktorja IGF-1.
